Rev. Andrew Curtis Lay is a native of Cleveland, Tennessee. He is a life-long Methodist and grew up attending First United Methodist Church in Cleveland. He earned his bachelor's degree at Tennessee Wesleyan University where he has also taught as an adjunct professor in the religion department. He also completed his Master of Divinity degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. In June 2019, he was commissioned as a provisional member in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. On June 5, 2022 he was ordained as an Elder.
Andrew is currently serving as the pastor of Discipleship at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Knoxville, TN. Andrew loves spending time with his wife Ally and their daughter.
